Sushma Foundation
The Sushma Foundation, based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating sustainable social impact in rural and underserved communities. Guided by a vision of empowerment, equity, and dignity, the Foundation works across multiple thematic areas, including:



- Water Security & Sanitation – Implementing projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission and Integrated Water Resource Management to ensure safe drinking water access, improved sanitation, and hygiene awareness.
- Women’s Empowerment & Livelihoods – Initiatives such as Sashakti Vahan train marginalized women as electric rickshaw drivers, equipping them with technical skills, financial literacy, and ownership opportunities.
- Health & Nutrition – Community health interventions focused on preventive healthcare, awareness, and improved access to medical services.
- Education & Skills Development – AI-driven and community-based learning programs in Hindi and English to enhance employability and knowledge for rural youth and adults.
- Biodiversity & Rural Development – Integrating environmental conservation, sustainable farming practices, and village-level development models.
